If you're looking to set up your own Training Academy - this is your starting point! Before you become accredited, you'll need to gain your qualification to teach adults. This qualification is exactly that!
 
Our qualification enables you to teach adults, however if you want to teach courses that are accredited and give your students an insurable qualification, you'll need to apply for accreditation! To do this, we recommend BIA (Beauty Industry Approval) (The CPD Group) Or BSO (Beauty Standards Org). These accreditors accept this qualification to open up your own training academy!
 
Applying for accreditation typically consists of the following:
Submitting proof of teaching qualification (this course)
Submitting proof of qualifications in the areas you wish to teach
Submitting the manuals that you wish to teach, created by yourself

The objectives for this course are as followed:
 
· You will be able to understand your roles and responsibilities as an educator.
· You will be confident in your own ability to undertake your own training sessions.
· You will have a good understanding on how to produce an interesting and informative training manual/handouts.
· You will have all necessary information on how to deal with disruptive students.
· You will have the ability to assess your students learning and give them constructive advice.
· You will have a good understanding of all the different styles of learning.
· You will be able to evaluate your own training sessions.
 
Overview
This course is for individuals with no prior experience within the teacher training industry, we highly recommend that you have an idea of the subjects that you are looking to teach going forward, this is available for anybody who wishes to teach adults in education. This qualification can be used as a stepping towards further qualifications. This qualification is the equivalent of a Level 3 PTLLS.
 
Requirements
Students are expected to have a basic literacy and numeracy level and they also must be over the age of 18 to meet the minimum age requirement.
Duration
This course is approximately 35-40 hours of home studying, all studying is to be completed online.
 
Assessment
- Multiple assignments
- 15 Minute Video teaching at least ONE other person (this can be a family member/friend if easier as long as you are demonstrating your teaching ability)
